the holidays (the apocalypse) are upon us. in about 15 minutes i'm going to have to work my last shift before i head off to see my parents...though on second thought, i could always drive tomorrow morning... (hmmmm...) i'll have to call them soon or something.

11am-7:30pm, today i guess.

yesterday i skipped work, due mainly to my "sea sickness" induced by ingesting copious amounts of J&B scotch the previous night. i helped lorri move and the strain probably didn't do my stomach too well. i threw up twice, called work and told them to fuck off, slept a good two and a half hours and then woke up and did incredible amounts of nothing until hanging out with kristin and seeing I Am Legend with her and Brandon.

the movie wasn't all that bad. it definitely did NOT follow the book at all, and it was pretty mindless, but i guess i was in the mood for a mindless movie and i know that anything with will smith in it isn't going to be some crazy psychological thriller or mystery movie that was going to work my brain muscle much.

...nice, just called my dad and it's okay with them if i drive down tomorrow, which will actually give me time to clean my room, get my costume together for the mars volta concert (still need a fake eyelash, damnit), clean the kitchen and living room, and slap a baby across the face! WHOO!
